Magic Burma
The largest country in Southeast Asia conceals countless treasures spawned by both nature and man: endless rice fields, thousands of Buddhist monks, magnificent pagodas. A rural community, quiet and silent, in the shadow of the magnificent monuments of the past, tormented by the political regime of the most brutal military dictatorship in the world, as well as by natural disasters, is still untouched by massive tourism. I traveled to Myanmar (formerly Burma), a country that remained largely isolated for many years from the rest of the world, several years ago. It was a marvelous trip to an exotic, deeply religious country, with monuments of unbelievable beauty, such as the city of Bagan, and the most smiling and warm people in the world.

Hi Julia, very beautiful photos indeed ! Can you tell me please , there is an image most probably in Burma with very large ceramic pots a rich caramel colour. Its the 20th image from the bottom. I would like to know the name of this village as I will most probably be visiting Burma this year and this is my point of interest. Many many thanks , Monique from Paros
Hi Monique this was a place outside Mandalay to take the riverboat for Pagan (the most amazing trip I ever made) It was 6.00 in the morning and this pots waiting for transfer So that is not a pottery place but a small river port.
