Magic Burma

myanmar 01

The largest country in Southeast Asia conceals countless treasures spawned by both nature and man: endless rice fields, thousands of Buddhist monks, magnificent pagodas. A rural community, quiet and silent, in the shadow of the magnificent monuments of the past, tormented by the political regime of the most brutal military dictatorship in the world, as well as by natural disasters, is still untouched by massive tourism. I traveled to Myanmar (formerly Burma), a country that remained largely isolated for many years from the rest of the world, several years ago. It was a marvelous trip to an exotic, deeply religious country, with monuments of unbelievable beauty, such as the city of Bagan, and the most smiling and warm people in the world.
